Two men set a Guinness World Record by riding every train in the Boston commuter system in just under 7 1/2 hours. The feat was accomplished in 2017 but Alex Cox and Dominic DeLuzio only received word recently of the official recognition. More
The accomplishment is reminiscent of a song made popular by the Kingston Trio of another poor soul who got on Boston’s MTA but never got back off again. Here
You haven’t lived until you ride the “T” after the bars close. Especially the Green Line from Kenmore Sq.
I have nothing but bad memories of the T. Disgustingly filthy with a bizarre ridership of low lifes.
I can think of many personal stories from my days as an MTBA rider. None of them good.
Their fate is still unlearned.
That and $1.50 will get them a cup of coffee
I’m sticking to the last train to Clarksville.
I took the Last Tundra to Clarksville (TN) last September to see the life sized statue of Frank Sutton dressed as Sgt Carter. https://clarksvillenow.com/local/frank-sutton-statue-dedicated-in-clarksville/
Pretty cool.
Get poor Charlie off the MTBA!
PHenry: What’s the over/under on how long before it gets vandalized?
Good question @Tony R. Fact is. It’s not very conspicuous and even though I sought it out, it was a little hard to find.
Clarksville was a cute little town, though
Didn’t get a chance to spend much time there, unfortunately.
Must be nice to have that kind of time on your hands. But to waste it in the shitholes of boston?
