I always loved going to the movies every Saturday when I was young.
I remember Dean starred in many of those fun, wholesome films.
Rest In Peace Dean Jones.
Oh, no!!!!
Dean Jones was a staple in my childhood (and early teen) movies.
RIP. 🙁
On a long enough timeline….
The Horse In The Gray Flannel Suit was a favorite of mine as a horse crazy kid. RIP Mr. Jones
Ya’ done good, Mr. Jones, and as a Christian in Hollywood as well.
I can’t wait until by granddaughter is old enough to enjoy your wholesome movies with me.
As Bob Hope would say, “Thanks, for the memories…”
Not only is my childhood getting further away from me, it’s dying. R.I.P. Mr. Jones.
So long, Mr. Jones. I have a lot of fond memories spent at my grandparents house on Sunday evening, watching The Wonderful World of Disney. You made the world seem less dismal when everynight the Vietnam War was always on the tube.
God Speed!
bayouwulf, Amen. Walter Cronkite with the war, and to close the week… Disney and Mutual of Omaha’s, Wild Kingdom, with Marlin Perkins.
Where the hell have we gone.
The vision in my rear view mirror is a little less clear everyday. Thanks for the memories. I’m with you BigGun….Where’s Doktari, Marlin Perkins, Disney, Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore and so many others.
God bless and Godspeed Mr. Jones. Snowball Express is one of my all-time favorites. You will be missed!
Rest in Peace.
1965 ‘That Darn Cat’ one of my favorite childhood films. No cursing, no swearing, just good clean fun for a kid.
RIP
Enjoyed your work.
I got to meet Mr. Jones when he spoke at our church. Shook his hand. He was a wonderful Christian witness. Check out his one man show,.St. John in Exile, on youtube.
