  8. JC Lady, I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s such a heart ache.

    Your two buddies will have so much fun together again, and your reunion will be joyous (many, many years from now!).

  13. Sorry to hear of your loss, JCLady. Doggone critters anyhow. They enrich our lives so, and it’s difficult to wait to see them all again.

  14. Sorry for your loss JC Lady but I suspect that both of your pals were very well loved and cared for while they were with you. I’m sure they’re at the bridge together now.

  15. The soul is a human psychological/awareness component, but spirit is eternal. All living things have a spirit. I’m pretty sure every animal will be among us.

    Grass, rocks, dirt, clouds, air, water, trees like you couldn’t imagine. It’s all there.

    Teddy was a Maine Coon cat that we adopted from a rescue group when he was 3 and Sophie was 6.

    It was truly love at first sight for these critters. First night at home, both of them slept in our bed.

    Teddy had a specific, gutteral call that was his message for Sophie to chase him. What fun!! My last comments to him were, “go call Sophie to chase you. I love you.”

    My heart is breaking. 🙁

  27. Heart aches for you JC Lady. Pets go straight to Heaven. THAT is motivation to do the same. You’ll be added to morning prayers. God Bless. Geez. Don’t even know you and tear running down face. Oh well, now that I’ve read iOTW, it’s time for prayers.

  29. Dear JC Lady – I’m so sorry for your loss. Our pets hold special places in our hearts. Each one is unique. Each one is special. I’m confident Teddy and Sophie are playing happily across the Rainbow Bridge, waiting to be reunited with you. (P.S. I always love to see your avatar – is that Sophie?)

  30. JC Lady, sorry for your loss. I have a tortoise shell female who is beautiful. I had her fixed and she needs a home. Already have 2 in the house and Weenie is yours if you want her. She loves to be loved on.
