While she was a funny actress and a beautiful woman, her courage through her struggle with MS was what I remember most about her.
I loved her in Young Frankenstein.
What a sweetheart she was.
Roll in the hey!
“What great knockers.” She was wonderful in an episode of the first Star Trek series too. Wonderful as the wife in Close Encounters, and simply charming in Young Frankenstein. What a horrible disease to end with. NEVER only trust western medicine for answers to your medical issues.
What Knockers
@ 853: the pill/stethoscope ******* have to create ‘problems’ to justify their existence, like de gubmint
ML Roberta Lincoln. Great episode.
This is sad news. The day before yesterday I watched the Star Trek episode with her in it, Assignment: Earth.
What a dish. The original MILF in Mr. Mom
Wow, sad news. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a less than stellar roll. Always kind of had the hots for her when I was young. The wife standard.
@Rich Taylor
I agree. The Black Stallion has such incredible cinematography. The black horse running along the beach is unforgettable. Almost unbelievable. And the story is one of the best in a movie I’ve ever seen.
But re: Teri Garr. RIP lady, you had a good run.
“Elevate me!”
Teri got her start as an uncredited dancer in Elvis movies.
A comedienne that used her hot body in the jokes. She will be missed.
Speaking for all teenage boys who grew up in the 70s…
Godspeed, Terri Garr. You were a memorable actress in several of my favorite movies.
farewell terri. thank you for all the great movie memories.
She had almost “that girl next door” quality about her. Very talented, funny, and beautiful.
She will be missed.
R.I.P. Terry Garr.
RIP
Enjoyed her work.
I loved her disheveled, helpless character. Made me want to rescue her.
Always enjoyed her stuff
