Robert Kennedy Jr., son of Robert Kennedy, is proud of his son John Conor Kennedy for punching a man in the head multiple times and resisting arrest in Aspen.
According to Robert, his son was taking a stand against bullying and that made him “happy.”
The incident took place outside of a nightclub in Aspen around 1:40 am on Thursday. Officer Andy Atkinson showed up at the scene and witnessed Conor grab another man and “hit him four or five times in the back of the head with his fists.”
Atkinson quickly tried to detain Conor, but his attempts were met with resistance from him.
According to Conor, he attacked the man because he used a homophobic slur against his friend.
“Conor has always reacted against bullying. I’m happy he stood up for his friend,” said Robert.

Get the checkbook out again Kennedy. I actually hope this goes to court and there is a decent DA. It sounds like an unprovoked (words are not provocation in court), sneak attack on an individual. A good DA would get this denizen of the shallow end of the gene pool some jail time and a permanent criminal record for assault with intent to whatever. That would bar him from travel to most countries and screw things up for him in the US if applying for certain jobs (like being a politician). Then the guy that got sucker punched can sue his ass off. The Kennedy’s have to be running out of cash pretty soon as none of them have real jobs so a good, expensive lawsuit could just be the thing to shut them up. I suspect that sad part is that his grandfather Robert Kennedy would be embarrassed by the actions of this little twerp.
