Robert Trump, the younger brother of President Donald Trump, has been hospitalized in New York, sources told ABC News, a development confirmed by the White House.
The details of his condition remain unknown though he is described by several sources as “very ill.”
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the hospitalization to ABC News, adding that the president and his brother “have a very good relationship” and that the president would be providing more details later.
Sources told ABC News the president is expected to visit his brother today, though final details were still being worked out.
In June, Robert Trump was hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Mount Sinai hospital in New York for more than a week.
My prayers for Robert. I didn’t even know President Trump has this brother.
And I definitely don’t want to see the usual scum sucking haters who will turn this into a chance to wish ill on their family.
I will add Robert to my prayer list also. I hope he recovers from whatever ails him, and pray for God’s strength and support for President Trump.
I hope he pulls through.
But my fear is that he won’t. I fear he will test positive for COVID-19 (even if that’s not what killed him) and the media will use his death against Donald — “President Trump doesn’t care about COVID-19 deaths, even after his own brother becomes one of them”
Sad for the president and his brother. The president has enough on his shoulders without the additional burden of personal tragedy weighing on him.
