Ron DeSantis invites first responders who oppose vaccine mandates to move to Florida: ‘We’ll treat you better here’

Post Millennial-

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) invited all out-of-state law enforcement personnel and first responders who oppose vaccine mandates to consider a move to the Sunshine State during an exclusive interview on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“In Florida, not only are we going to want to protect the law enforcement and all the jobs, we’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement because we do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments,” DeSantis said on-air. “So in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a $5,000 bonus to any out-of-state law enforcement that relocates in Florida,” the Florida governor told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo. watch

  1. Good for him. At this point it would be better for him to stay in Florida and make it a “shining city on a hill” for Americans to compare to their own states. If he ran for, and even won, the Presidency, he would just get swallowed up in the mire.

  2. Jason,
If DeSantis ran for, and won the US presidency in 2024, he’d run into the same roadblocks and active hostility that PDJT did.
