Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, floated former GOP Rep. Ron Paul for Federal Reserve chairman and billionaire Elon Musk, who is leading the Department of Government Efficiency called the idea “amazing.” More
Ron Paul suggested slowing the roll, knowing all the opposition he would face. Here
Don’t we have enough octogenarians running things? I’d rather have “big balls.”
He should just head the audit…and the abolition.
I’ve been a fan and supporter of Ron Paul for several decades. He’s one of the very few pols whom I have unreserved respect for.
Fed Chair? I’d love it if he weren’t quite so old. In August he’ll turn 90. I like @MrLiberty’s suggestion A LOT! Auditor and abolisher!
I also like the heck out of Ron Paul, but he’s old! Auditor and obolisher would be a great title for his newly created position!
Ron Paul is getting up there so I think a better candidate would be Rand Paul.
Rand know how to kick ass and kick it really far!
I don’t think there’s any rule that says a sitting senator cant also head up the Fed. Make Rand Paul the head of the Fed and let him hire his father as a consultant. If that happens I’ll put away a few Federal Reserve Notes as souvenirs for my grandchildren.
