Big Government: Hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer’s decision to throw his financial weight behind the donor-class 2016 favorite,Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), has sparked fresh questions about Rubio’s coziness with the financial interests funding his career.
Singer was a major financial force behind the Rubio-Obama amnesty and immigration expansion push in 2013.
As Politico reported at the time, Singer “quietly go[t] involved in the fight for immigration reform, making a six-figure donation… to the National Immigration Forum”— a George Soros-backed organization that lobbied for Rubio’s legislation to issue 33 million green cards to foreign nationals in the span of a single decade. The announcement of Singer’s endorsement highlights an intra-party tension that has emerged with new strength sinceRep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)’s inauguration as Speaker of the House. more here
And that’s what serving mammon looks like.
Rubio is a good example of the type of politician that has to be defeated.
That rules Rubio out as a common sense candidate.
Marco Polo Rubio….for sale to the highest bidder, POSTER CHILD for the GOPers…. aka Dhimmos Lite.
Well if he goes down and Jeb! continues on the road out of the running, who will the GOPe support? Graham? Kasich?? Christie??? Will they coax Mitt into the race?
Looks like they’re between the proverbial rock and a hard place.
MARCO RUBIO!
The BEST politician money can buy!
Once bought – stays bought!
Not like those damned Demonrats!
That convictive voice he has just got slathered with butter.
Rubio has a new PawPaw. “Grab your ankles and squint!”
The guy looks like a greedy tight-ass who’s only concern is the bottom line with cheap labor.
Singer’s kid is an arse bandit, so he’s in favor of sod “marriage” too
What’s the difference between the Donks and the Rubio again?
America need to do away with these candidates and directly vote for the billionaires behind the curtain.
Nice avatar ya got thar Mr. Singer.
Ya look just like a little Cuban American!
The writing’s on the wall, Cruz vs Rubio.

Man….I’m surprised!
I wish hedge fund assholes would join us out here in the small business world, working our ass off for nickels while shitbirds like Singer and Tom Steyer move pieces around the chess board and laugh at the little people.
Maybe in the end they’ll be the ones the righteous come for first.
