Hip Hop mogul, Russell Simmons jumped into the prepaid debit card business when it was a relatively minor industry.
Last Columbus Day weekend his card froze the assets of hundreds of thousands of people, resulting in a settlement of over 19 million bucks.
Simmons Tweeted, “Money doesn’t make you happy, but happy does make you money.”
Good-
“The RushCard event was a combination of a not great product plus an incompetent
administration,” says Collins. “There’s no reason why a card couldn’t work well or be a serious alternative. It might be really useful for people. You just can’t get into the space of providing financial products and be that sloppy.”
During the crisis, RushCard went from prayers to promises, vowing to create a $2-to-3 million fund to cover these unexpected expenses. The Cincinnati-based company also dropped its egregious account and transaction fees through February 2016, a financial mea culpa it claimed would deplete its entire 2015 profit.
Recent events have made me realize I’m not the great business man I thought I was. But I’m a hell of a lot better than this dip shit. Conclusion, I need a better tan.
I am all for Reparations to blacks. Each black can have 1 million dollars but must leave the country and never come back.
I think I remember his ex wife saying he can’t read or is a poor reader.
That’s funny, and sad. And don’t forget poor Kanye. Now remind me again how much of our money Obama is giving to Iran.
