Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann announced Friday that he settled a $275 million defamation lawsuit against NBC.

Way to go, Nick! It does my heart good to see another mainstream propagandist corporation coughing up big bucks for their casual and wanton defamation / slander / libel. We need to see A LOT more of that.
I can’t wait until he sues the Salvation Army for labeling him a racist because he’s white.

The individuals who made the statements likely did not pay. It was more likely the corporation insurance company that paid out. Until the individuals who make the claims, are made to pay out of their own pocket (at least in addition to their corporate masters), this crap will continue.
