Okay, but they didn’t dismiss the other travel ban challenge brought by Hawaii. “the Hawaii case also challenges the 120-day ban on refugee resettlement, which will not expire until later this year.” And if Trump issues another ban, what’s to stop a court from filing an injunction against it and starting this whole nauseating process all over again? It just seems to me that if SCOTUS only lets the injunctions run out and never issues a ruling concerning his constitutionality to apply the ban, aren’t they just kicking the can down the road? I’m confused.
Problem is, they will just file another one…(sigh).
The Wise Latina dissented and thought it was ok for the Judge to write ad hoc immigration law on the fly for the whole country.
