SCOTUS Refuses to Hear Alex Jones’ Appeal

AP

The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an appeal from conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and left in place the $1.4 billion judgment against him over his description of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as a hoax staged by crisis actors.

The Infowars host had argued that a judge was wrong to find him liable for defamation and infliction of emotional distress without holding a trial on the merits of allegations lodged by relatives of victims of the shooting, which killed 20 first graders and six educators in Newtown, Connecticut. 1. …the 8th Amendment isnt a “thing” anymore, apparently…

“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”
    -The Constitution SCOTUS is ignoring.

  2. Everyone seems to miss the biggest fraud of all (other than the absurd sum)

What was the emotional harm to these liberal parents when Jones published his theory on his tiny right wing blog, which had a few thousand viewers It was zero, because none of them would have known about it

It was the leftie media that brought it to everybody’s attention by incessantly beating this thing into everybody’s mind … with the goal of discrediting right wing journos. And they also pumped up the outrage

  3. They didn’t hear the part about Jones saying he was wrong about it LONG before the first lawsuit came out? Of course not, because they like to block stuff that they don’t think fits their cause.

I’m not a big fan of Jones, but the lawsuit was hot garbage and SCOTUS should change their logo to a pussy.

This isn’t a good look for the parents, either.
They spent more time trashing Jones than the POS that shot the poor kids.
