Seattle About To Get A Pro-Police Moderate Mayor

Fox News

Former Seattle City Council President Bruce Harrell, who ran on a pro-police message, led the returns in the race for Seattle mayor by nearly 30 points against progressive M. Lorena González, the current president, late Tuesday.

Harrell told FOX 13 in Seattle Tuesday he thought his message resonated with voters.

“I’m not a status quo politician, they want the homeless issue addressed with a sense of urgency, they want effective policing …biased-free policing, so we feel very good about the results.” More

For the race obsessed, Harrell is Japanese Black American .

  1. “who ran on a pro-police message”

Just because you are against defundung the police, this does not make you pro-police.

Does he commit to enforcing the laws in his city, all the laws?
Does he commit to locking up shoplifters?
Does he commit to making the DA do his job?
Does he commit to not surrendering the city to mob and giving “stand down” orders when the next mob outrage occurs, and protecting city property from the looters and arsonists.
Does he commit to backing the cops and providing an environment of trust.

When he uses phrases like ,”biased-free policing”, I’m already dubious.

  2. A mature (over 40) lady gets pulled over for speeding…
Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?
Officer : Ma’am, you were speeding.
    Older Woman: Oh, I see.
Officer : Can I see your license please?
Older Woman: I’d give it to you but I don’t have one.
    Officer : Don’t have one?
Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.
Officer : I see…Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.
Older Woman: I can’t do that.
    Officer : Why not?
Older Woman: I stole this car.
    Officer : Stole it?
Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.
    Officer : You what?
Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see.
The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.
Officer 2: Ma’am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.
Older woman: Is there a problem sir?
Officer2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.
    Older Woman: Murdered the owner?
Officer2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please. The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.
Officer2: Is this your car, ma’am?
Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers. The officer is quite stunned.
Officer2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.
The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer. The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.
Officer2 : Thank you ma’am, one of my officers told me you didn’t have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.
Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

  3. A Republican woman won the Seattle City Attorney’s office against a lesbian police abolishing Marxist.

Lots of work to be done to clean up the sh*thole that Seattle has become. I’m sure there will be AntiFA obstacles thrown down to stop “progress.”

  4. Neither of them are much better than the alternative. Don’t expect any improvement, it might slow up the descent into hell for Seattle though. Only in an America that has been turned on it’s head are these two recognized as moderates.

The disease Seattle suffers from is organic and it is pervasive. It’s been there and readily identifiable for a bare minimum of five decades, I recognized it in the late 1960’s. the symptoms of the disease have finally reached critical mass and no one can not recognize them at this stage.

  5. So next time I’m in Seattle, does this mean…

no more piles of needles or poop?
police on the streets after dark?
    all the tent cities gone?
over flowing trash cans picked up?
    fewer zombies stumbling about?
end of the open air drug market around the rehab center?

    Inquiring minds and all that

I have not been in Seattle, other to drive through the festering shithole on I-5, in many moons. Hope to keep that accomplishment going the rest of my life. Portland likewise. Both make me sick.

  7. Hey JD. Seattle used to be a great 3 day getaway. One of my favorite cities to visit in the 90s. Very, very liberal but tolerable. Since I moved to the Peninsula, I’ve had to take a half dozen flights, all early morning ones so I’d take the last ferry and get to Sea-Tac around 2 or 3 and cool my heels for a couple hours. Huge change.

I’ll tell you walking from the ferry terminal to the light rail station was some scary ass shit. Looked like something out of a horror movie. Not once have I ever seen any police.

And I’ve been there several times in the day and it’s gotten very ugly at ground level.

    Such a Shame.

It was tolerable, but their politics hasn’t changed one damn bit. Seattle has not changed ideologically, but it is now on full display and the wet dream of the bastards has been being implemented for the last couple decades.
