Senate Republicans voted down a Democratic proposal Friday to fund the government for one month and permanently extend health care premium subsidies that are due to expire at the end of the year.

  1. democrats demand a lot to concede a little. It’s how it’s always been. That’s how they got hundreds of judges appointed in Biden’s last days. We’ll be paying the price for that for many years.

  2. Apparently the DOGE and USAIDS cuts and various other cutbacks and layoffs plus the tariff revenue hasn’t reached the Trillion dollar mark yet. Hell, our debt service alone is greater than that.

  3. Obamacare succeeded in turning our healthcare system into the equivalent of the UK’s National Health Service but with far fewer escape routes. The Dems, of course, won’t be satisfied until the labels match. The few smart ones know the benefits of maintaining the gaslighting.
