Wisconsin’s Democratic U.S. senator is once again pushing to make sure everyone in the state can watch the Packers.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin is back with the Go Pack Go Act.
Baldwin has for years pushed for everyone who lives in Wisconsin to get Packers games during the season.
“Regardless of where you live, every Wisconsinite should be able to cheer on the Green and Gold,” Baldwin said in a statement. “But right now, hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites live in communities where they could get Vikings or Lions games broadcast on their TVs instead of Packers games.”
People in 13 counties in Wisconsin, all either near Michigan’s Upper Peninsula or near the Minnesota border, don’t automatically get Packer games on broadcast TV. More

If the job of an elected representative is to represent the people of that state, then good for her.
If you have known any real Packers fans (I’ve known a few) then you understand the mindset. The team’s ownership is unique as well as its fan base. A real fan would rather nail his penis to a burning post than have to watch the Vikings or the Lions play.
Note to Dems: Bread and circuses only works if the populace doesn’t recognize a viable alternative. May as well enjoy what is left while it lasts isn’t going to work with Trump/MAGA in control. Now, if that Goddamn idiot Harris had been installed this would have been a winning issue.
The Democrats are nothing if not formulaic. Never anything novel and God forbid anything that promises a better life ahead for those who are at the bottom.
