Still a “good boy”
All pets (cats and dogs and others) are “good boys” until the owner screws them up. I remember visiting a friend that worked at a pit bull rescue and had a 160 lb who thought he was a lap dog 😀

Oh, my Ellie (a black lab and pointer mix), would be all over the tennis ball.
In our house, ball is life.
She may never make it as a therapy dog or service dog for anyone else.
However, she keeps me laughing at all her goofiness. That’s therapy enough for me.
I’ll take him. Reminds me of when my mutt was voted class clown at obedience school.
