Bull sharks are the meanest ones. I am not worried about great whites, I just stay away from sea lion rookeries. Bulls can be very aggressive. And they can be in brackish or fresh water. There are bulls around here, I don’t worry about them when swimming or paddleboarding but am aware of the potential.
It’s the great whites who just want to be hugged. 🙂

Wild! Courland Bay is on the side of the island of Tobago, where all the ritzy hotels are. When I visited that island we didn’t stay anywhere near there because it was so touristy. We stayed in a tiny hotel in Scarboro. We were there to dive which was an amazing trip! DEEP dives too! Some of the largest fish I’ve ever seen. Anyone remember Rodney Fox? That’s what popped into my mind when I was reading about his injuries. DAMN!

They’ve encountered Bull Sharks way up the Amazon in fresh water. In fact they have peeps that have been killed in fresh water by them. You may be onto something.
