The resolution’s sponsor claims she knew that. She just did it because, NRA is a TeRroRiSt organization!11! And she’ll waste taxpayer cash doing it again, when she feels like it.

Almost a month after the San Francisco Board of Supervisors declared the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization,” leading the gun rights group to file a lawsuit, Mayor London Breed reminded city staff in a memo that the nonbinding resolution does not limit contracts with groups doing business with the pro-Second Amendment organization.
While the resolution drew national attention, it has no legal teeth. Resolutions are merely a statement of values from the Board of Supervisors that cannot change city law. Off topic but, there is an article in the Detroit News on Rashida Talib where she told the Detroit Police Chief that only black people should be used to analyze facial recognition images. The Chief very diplomatically put her in her place. The real entertainment though is the comment section. She gets murdered by almost everybody except the few dem trolls that I recognize from every comment board there.

So if I had a non-binding inflammatory declaration made against the SF city board members that scared away customers from their personal/family businesses, that would be a-okay? Hey, it’s not a “binding” resolution!
Nope, economic damage is guaranteed with a public office attacking any group. They should all be held liable (screw legal protections like qualified immunity when they go outside of their job description).
