Shameless Attempts To Cash In On Children’s Books Celebrating Pandemic Christmas

It seems a number of children’s books were rushed to publication on Amazon in time to try to make a buck off of COVID Christmas. Among the offerings where those that tried to make mask wearing and social distancing OK because Santa participated in the insanity. Here and Here

The example of trying to make light of disrupting the holidays that reallly caught my attention was “A Corona Virus Christmas: The Spirit of Christmas Will Always Shine Through.” Not only is this a naked attempt to cash in on pandemic hysteria, but the publication was so rushed that the book was put together backwards and upside down. Other examples of books available on Amazon aimed at children trying to make lockdowns and closed businesses OK include, “Even Reindeer Wear Masks,” “A Very Corona Christmas,” How COVID Stole Christmas,” and the “F*ck Off, Coronavirus, I’m Coloring” which is neither a Christmas or children’s book but appears when one searches Amazon for these specific items.

And I thought “Hookers and Blow Save Christmas” was an offensive idea for a children’s Christmas book, but these COVID Christmas books are beyond the pale.

You may note also, while all these titles recognize commercial Christmas, they seem to leave Christ out of it, which I’ll assume appeals to liberals everywhere (the chance to be treated like a child, receiving gifts from authority figures, without the hassle of actually believing in anything).
