  1. Wow! We’re back online after more than three days and the first thing I see is our Killer! Great way to start a Sunday morning. Thanks Claudia!

OT: I just got us back online via Starlink. We’re fine, but the folks 10 miles South of us sure as heck aren’t. North Port and Port Charlotte areas are in terrible, terrible shape after 140 MPH winds. Around my own area, after 100 MPH winds, I saw a lot, I mean A LOT of tree/vegetation damage but very little structural damage outside of screen cages. We were very, very fortunate.

  2. Great montage, Uncle Al! My dog Penny, usually follows me the the same “room!”
Glad you are your family made it through the storm. This is one of the reasons I abandoned the state of Florida in my
    youth.

  3. Uncle Al steals the show…but just a little TMI 😉

Glad to hear you survived the storm. I have an ex-MIL and SIL in Siesta Key and Sarasota. They came through fine. Two brothers in Naples got hit pretty badly, but no flooding for them.

  4. My kitty, when she was a tiny little kitten, use to go right inside my undies and take a nap when I was doing the same thing as Uncle Al. Being fastidiously clean, she eventually decided there were much better places to snooze.

Thanks for all the photos – makes me smile to see them.
