“The 27 words of the Second Amendment don’t say anything about how many guns someone can own in America.”
What does “Shall Not Be Infringed” mean to you moron?
They need to change the Name to ” STALE ” after that one !
Seeing this coming after the Las Vegas shooting was as obvious as could be. The 30 guns in Paddocks room was meant to translate into anyone who owns more than one or two guns is insane and that owning numerous guns now a warning sign of the next crazy timebomb shooter.
Hillarys Executive Order on the number of guns a person can own and the amount of ammunition one person could buy was already written. Its the “slippery slope” that Pelosi was hoping for. As it is, the RepubicCons and the rats are already moving ahead quietly on post shooting bills (also already written long before) designed to disarm and circumvent the constitution.
The left, slap them and they keep coming back. That’s what you call stoopid.
It would have helped if the founders added a clause giving us permission to shoot anyone who attempts to infringe on our Second Amendment Rights.
From the article by Doug Pennington: For whom would, say, a 10-shot semi-automatic pistol and a six-round 12-gauge pump action shotgun not suffice for home defense?
Mr. Pennington might review the Randy Weaver or the Branch Davidian stories.
Doug Pennington is a communications professional in Washington and a former staffer for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
And another thing, the Slate site doesn’t have a comments section. What a great way to keep your echo chamber from being invaded.
Gahh! Out of thousands and hundreds of thousands of laws, you’d think there would be JUST ONE that can put just plain stupid behind bars!
Never have I once returned to my home and realized that I had too many weapons in my house.
Sometimes, ya gotta be the Wolfe.

blockquote>The 27 words of the Second Amendment don’t say anything about how many guns someone can own in America.
Neither do the other 7,564 words in the Constitution.
Then you can’t limit the number of guns I own. (See Amendment X)
Correct me if I’m wrong but the 2nd Amendment says nothing about the number of arms a person is allowed.
In fact, during the times……a person could easily own a cannon.
Purely and simply…..the liberals’ quest is to disarm Americans in order to ‘CONTROL’ the citizens therein.
I do find it hard to shoot more than two at once, still working on it.
Okay SLATE, is one of your staff members willing to come over to my house and kick in the door to remove my additional weapons?
I didn’t think so.
Two guns? OK, I choose a 50 caliber machine gun and an Abrams tank.
Those with Multiple Personality Disorder don’t have a problem with this.

A measly cannon? How about a whole damn warship?
Letter of Marque – it’s still a thang. Of course, history didn’t really happen as far as a lefty is concerned.
He’s working with 2 brain cells.
