As these dogs are out enjoying the snow, I’ll watch them from inside my 77 degree home while I’m drinking hot coffee.

They are lifting their hind ends because they remember how cold their peepees got last winter.
77 degrees? I would be having a heat stroke!!
Today, being much warmer than yesterday, we played in the snow with the dogs and granddaughter.
Their usual fetch toy is a white rubber lacrosse ball. They had an awful time finding it in the fresh snow. Couldn’t see it, couldn’t smell it.
The cheap frisbee didn’t last long, it disintegrated in the cold.
The little one, being lower to the ground with his pointy digging nose, for once outclassed the lab in finding the ball.
My arm is killing me.

My thermostat is set at 68 now, and maybe 76 in the summer.

It’s true! I tend to be cold all the time. [It’s a complication due to my sickle cell trait]. I can be in 113 degree weather, drink a glass of iced tea, and I will need to put on a light sweater. LOL.
