Make sure you check out the entire video. There’s a little interaction with New York’s finest that must be seen.

What a refreshing change from the usual!
Awesome indeed. In your face Che DeBlasio
Now that looks like fun!
I hope that cop doesn’t get ripped. But he probably will. Pity
Watch for “if he was black he’d be arrested.”
Cops: Someone complained about you guys so we gotta pretend we’re talking to you.
Snowboarder: You guys are awesome!
LOVE it!
we used to call it ‘skeeching’ … without the benefit of the boards
… or the permission of the drivers
Your insurance will not cover you. Period. Good luck with that.
Never had a chance to go to NY. This should be their tourism video!!!
Is this the video where the jeep pulls GFY?
I gotta see that one.
Seriously chains on a Wrangler in NYC? May as well go suck your buddy off in the forest preserve.
Does that make you a little homesick, BFH?
Darn it’s tough to have a 25 year old’s penchant for fun and exciting tricks while living in a 70 year old body.
So where were the 2 feet of snow in NYC?
We called it bumper skiing. Never used a tow rope, skis or a snowboard. Just grab the bumper, keep your toes up and ride along.
Thanks for the translation, my NewYukese is pretty rusty.
There were a few times we’d bumper ski in Wis, but it was more of a quick grab and slide. Not an afternoon of it. The Lake Geneva police did write tickets for that kind of thing.
We upped it once when I was 17 with a VW on a frozen lake, towing one of us on a sled.
Once.
I limped for a while after that day. MF-er driving while I was on the sled took off across the lake at full throttle. He was gaining speed and it was getting ridiculous when we crossed the frozen tracks of snow mobiles and I flew off.
I stopped rolling about 20 feet from a guy that was ice fishing.
We just looked at each other as I got up and started limping back to where we started. MF-er disappeared into the haze as he kept going and gaining speed. Never knew what happened to me until he stopped and saw the sled was empty and went looking for me.
I had a few words for him since the idea was to keep it under 20mph not ‘see if you can kill me’.

Really brings that great old song to life!
