The Bentonville, AR has a statue of honoring Governor James H. Berry, who lost a leg in the civil war. The monument to confederate soldiers was vandalized Tuesday night when a thief made off with one of four cannonballs.

There did not appear to br any method to hold them in place other than weight, a little welding may have helped.
