The son of a California man who choked to death during a taco-eating contest has filed a negligence suit against event organizers.
Marshall Hutchings filed the suit Monday alleging father Dana Hutchings was warned about the risks involved in such contests, according to the Associated Press.
Hutchings, 41, died after he choked on tacos during a competition amid a Fresno Grizzlies minor league baseball game on Aug. 13, 2019. The competitors attempted to eat as many tacos as possible during an allocated amount of time. read more

..yep, Cincinnati has the most corrupt concil anywhere. We had the Gang of Five conspiring in violation of sunshine laws to strategies about screwing up the firing of a horrible city manager and other things, but skated on criminal charges and made the taxpayers pay their lawyers and civil fines. One of them was actually convicted and removed on unrelated wire fraud charges, and another mayoral candidate is ALSO facing wire fraud and corruption charges while another…

…it’s pretty messed up. They also ruined my second-ring suburb comuity with illegal project removal and gentrification, and arrested homeless people who dared camp near the downtown parts of the city where the neckbeards pay top dollar to live in riverfront condos in green-zoned walking neighborhoods.
The hypocrisy is as off the charts as the corruption.

Why would one have to be “made aware” of the risks of shoving as many tacos into one’s mouth as time allows?
Unless Mr. Hutchins was retarded, impaired, or a mindless Demonrat, there’s no reason to suspect he didn’t weigh the danger against the “reward” and proceed at his own risk.
By shoving tacos into his maw, he implied knowledge and consent.
