I just got a female GSD pup and am in love. She’s asleep on my foot now.

Have loved dogs for over 75 years. My latest is spoiled rotten! Just played/wrestled with him (90 lb Lab) for 30 min. My only problem is they die so fast. Have “put down” 7; tears me up every time!
Can no longer hunt; but Angus is a bird dog; even if he never sees the field!

I knew it and now there is little doubt we have finally “Gone to the Dogs”.

I had to have my lab mix, Gunnar, put down on Dec. 23. He had osteosarcoma and was in a lot of pain. I miss him and still think I hear him sometimes. He was my 8th dog since 1983, and unfortunately, he was my last.
