When I was in high school, they showed post-war holocaust camp movies…but only after informing the parents and getting consent that it was OK for the students to see it.

Eighth graders are 13,14 at most. Discussing this and showing it are 2 different things.I wouldn’t do it.

I 100% disagree with people saying these kids are too young to appreciate this.
This teacher should be given a raise and more children should be exposed to the TRUTH at an early age – it’s the only way we are going to be able to mount a winnable fight in our future.
In addition to exposing this truth, I would also suggest that a viable alternative be introduced to combat it – Christianity.

Meanwhile, moslems everywhere in the world are teaching 5 and 6-year-olds that Christians and Jews should have their heads chopped off. And that becomes a hands-on participation class by the time they are teenagers.
It would be a great service to America to teach the future generations about the very real threat of islam, and at the same time let them know that the Left has been lying to them about it.
It wasn’t until we were shown photos of aborted babies in high school that we really understood that abortion wasn’t the quick, clean, PAINLESS solution to a “blob of cells” that it was presented as in the media.
And as others pointed out above, children even younger than those in this class are being beheaded around the world by those the same age as them.
“Forewarned is armed.” Hopefully, these kids are familiar with Christianity or soon will be. At their age, that and knowledge are their best weapons now.
