FOX: South Carolina woman kills escaped jail inmate who kicked down her door, sheriff says.
Hours after he and another inmate escaped jail after beating up a security guard, a South Carolina inmate was fatally shot after he broke into a woman’s house, officials said.
Bruce McLaughlin Jr., 30, was shot in the head by the woman after he kicked in her back door on Tuesday, according to Pickens County authorities.
After he entered the home, McLaughlin grabbed a knife sharpening tool from the kitchen and headed toward the woman’s bedroom around 3 a.m. Sheriff Rick Clark said the woman was home alone and had undergone concealed weapons training at some point prior to the incident.
“This was a big guy. If she hadn’t had a weapon there’s no telling what would have happened,” the sheriff said. “I gave her a big hug. I told her how proud I was of her.” MORE

Tough to get on a rapidly advancing target, though, maybe a bit too “tricky” for a 3 AM wake up call. Still, post pictures of the aftermath in the local lockup, including autopsy photos, as a warning to the rest of the peanut gallery…
Fortunately for her the guy was white. If he had been one of the chosen peoples the she would have been arrested for wrongfully killing an honor student that was lost in her house.
If only there was a way to make the dead guy’s family pay for the crime scene clean up…

Clark said the incident was “a shining example” of why owning and knowing how to properly use a gun is important.
The lesson every parent, grandparent, brother’sister, friend, and boyfriend/girlfriend ought to be sharing about this story. Also if you’re concerned about your aim in your bedroom, hang a shotgun then shoot center mass.
We need to do the same to people who try to bust down the wall and come into our country uninvited.

There shouldn’t be Life Sentences.. Only Death Sentences and and Third Strikes should be death sentences… enough is enough!
I feel bad for her. She got stuck with the burden of having to end an idiot’s life. She should get law credit for that. lol
Here in Nolackaloonies, MT, she might well have been charged with deliberate homicide by our apparently eternal (d) county attorney. Yeah, Yeah, I know. The act doesn’t fit ANY deliberate homicide statute anywhere. But that doesn’t seem to matter to our country attorney.
Sadly, no one runs against him. Maybe the salary is too low…
