Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the United States Constitution:
“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”

States should tell the Feds to go pound sand. The sooner we get this party started the quicker we get it over with.
Refuse services. PERIOD.
Syrians and/or any illegal alien invading rat-people.
Forbid any state employee from participating in any activity providing services to them – including investigating their murders – and make it well-known.
This sounds like an approach that might actually work. So, the politicians and media will bury it and you will never hear about it again.
Yup, cuz taking it to court against this Manchurian Doorknob who wipes his feet on the Constitution would prove fruitless!
It’s a fine idea, but I wouldn’t count on Governor Douchey-Douche to protect the people of New York State this way.
Last I heard he still wasn’t on the list of governors refusing to take in Syrian refugees.
“….and the rockets red glare”
