  1. That image is exactly what I saw on the passenger’s side as I was the passenger in the front seat. Fresh clean kill.

We were 2 miles from home, called the LEOs, DH went back to meet the LEO by he deer. LEO had already called a local guy to pick it up the kill. At the same time another guy stopped and wanted the fresh kill. DH left them to sort it out. Darn deer wiped out the whole side of our car. Half second earlier I would have been fresh kill, because he would have met our windshield.

I hate deer in the road or in my garden.

  2. so far this is the best 911 call I have ever heard….LOL

you can tell how old it is because phone booths have been gone ever since the cancer-causing, spying, and tracking devices known as cellphones came out.

  3. I almost experienced this yesterday evening while driving home from a cruise-in with my 69 Mach 1. I was on interstate 70 driving about 75 mph and noticed a heard of deer rush down the embankment toward the road in front of me. Luckily the one in the lead paused right at the shoulder and the rest stopped too.
When a heard rushes onto the road there is no alternative for you.
    Rats with hooves!

  4. I saw that exact image four years ago while driving to a goose hunt at 5 AM. The bastard bounced down the side of the SUV and did four thousand dollars damage. I couldn’t stop because there was no shoulder. Luckily he didn’t touch the duck boat and trailer I was towing.
    And – I didn’t get any geese that day…

I drove Mach 1s for decades. Haven’t had one for about 10 years now though. The only 69-70 fast back I had was a Boss 302 that was pretty much a stripped out track car. My brother had a 390 68 Cyclone that was the tits. I liked 71s real well. We used 4V Cleveland motors a lot they make big high end power with Torker manifolds on them, but also liked FE and 385 series Motors. I had a 69 Grande that had a 4V Windsor that was fast as hell, it could hole shot a 4V Cleveland, but a good Cleveland would eventually run it down if set up right.
