I’m sure glad that our cats aren’t sensitive to my snoring or I’d be battered all night long! But they are sensitive to feeding time, so frequently I’m awakened by Killer walking up on my chest so that the first thing I see after opening my eyes are a pair of cat eyes about 5″ away.
Everyone who owns a cat knows that when it’s feeding time for the cat, you’d better do it now or else. Dogs are more patient and can wait and are happy whenever it’s time to feed the dog.

Yea, that cat would have been a tennis racket in a couple days. I remember one time trying to chase a house cat out, as we were leaving for overnight, caught the damn thing as it tried to run up the stairs. That evil little thing turned around and sunk it’s teeth into my hand. The front door opened to the stairs. I told the wife, open the door. I pitched that thing into the middle of the street. Never saw it again. Had to wrap my right hand up for the trip to keep it from leaking.
One time back in the early 80’s when I was insulating water heaters for a local utility company a cat snuck into the open window of my car since it was a very hot day and proceeded to eat my sandwich which I was going to eat for lunch later. Anyway, I caught the cat eating my sandwich and proceeded to give it a very hard kick in its ass punting it as far away as I could. I was not a happy camper because that cat had eaten most of my sandwich.
