Students Have Childish Reactions When Safety Measure Is Imposed On Them

I’ve been watching the griping going on among the students at Marjorie Stoneman High School as they have been forced to use clear backpacks, and find their opposition laughable. The worst hypocrites declare it an infringement on their rights to have to switch to less fashionable clear plastic, all the while demanding that the rest of the nation confiscate all guns. More

It’s as if they don’t like being subjugated to an arbitrary ruler who can dictate what rights they do and do not have or something.  The most egregious sin is that the freaking backpacks were given to them for free,  thanks to local taxpayers, and all they can do is gripe about them.   More

  1. It’s a good lesson for the kids in stupid rules that are supposed to make you feel safer. Kind of like three ounce limits for airport carry-on liquids -like somehow you cant mix 6 of them together in a $6.00 water bottle on the other side.

  2. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say you have the right to a backpack (see-through or solid)……. unlike the right to bear arms which is “supposed to be” uninfringed.

Some of these children have been successfully pussified and pliable by our liberal, SJW education system.

  3. See through back packs are a prime example of “Unintended Consequences” and the old adage “Be careful what you wish for”.
Too bad, so sad. Try thinking for yourselves next time. Try not being a follower. The real world is going to eat you snowflakes alive.

  4. Well back in my day I carried my books, of course that was also in the day when we all had rifles and shotguns in our back glass. Teachers weren’t liberal idiots then and their only agenda was to teach us how to read, write and do arithmetic. They did like to whip our ass with a board too if we got out of line.

We need to end public education if we have any chance at a future.

  5. Seems as if they have no self awareness given their position on recent events, let alone the likely fact that each probably has their entire life up on the facebook which seems to me is like a really, really huge clear backpack.

  6. Devices of mayhem can be hidden anywhere. They need to leave their clothing outside the school. Pass through the scanners in disposable hospital gowns and those elastic sack booties. They can get back in their street clothes, back outside, at the end of the day.

  7. Rush Limbaugh was talking today about how leftist and their deviant ideologies have taken over the educational system from adminstration, parent groups (PTA), teaching, curriculum etc. Shocking and vulgar tactics are used by the left as a signal they’re willing to go to any length to get their way. The current generation of public school students have been completely indoctrinated by the left and their ignorance is alarming.

  8. Let’s end a major source of bullyng a demand a mandatory dress code where everyone is the same.

That’s one way to balance their conspicuous signs of privilege.

    Next up…quarterly drug tests.

If it saves just one life. Seems like an airtight plan when you are forced to March For Your Life.

  9. My wife has to leave her designer purse at home and carry a stadium approved clear plastic bag with a strap when we go to a university basketball game at the civic center. We aren’t terrorists, but have to give up some individual rights for the common good.
In the years after 9/11/2001, I had to be issued a picture ID badge with security strip to enter my state office building where I came and went unsecured for around 25years before.

  10. Whining about being treated as potential killers – while at the same time advocating other law abiding, peaceful citizens, also be treated as potential killers, can back fire and bite ya on the rear end. Stand for freedom or suffer the consequences. But I doubt they make the connection between the two and realize the hypocrisy or foolishness of their actions.

  11. The Hogg child and his child followers demanded that SOMETHING BE DONE. So, the adults did “something”. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the something the children were expecting. Too bad.
Those children just got hit upside the head by The Immutable Law of Unintended Consequences.
