Brigham and Women’s Hospital
A new study from researchers from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a founding member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system, suggests that men who regularly lift heavy objects at work have higher sperm counts. The study, published in Human Reproduction, is part of the Environment and Reproductive Health (EARTH) cohort, a clinical study which aims to explore how exposure to environmental chemicals and lifestyle choices affect reproductive health.
“We already know that exercise is associated with multiple health benefits in humans, including those observed on reproductive health, but few studies have looked at how occupational factors can contribute to these benefits,” said first author Lidia Mínguez-Alarcón, a reproductive epidemiologist in Brigham’s Channing Division of Network Medicine and co-investigator of the EARTH study. “What these new findings suggest is that physical activity during work may also be associated with significant improvement in men’s reproductive potential.” Lift
Take that Soy Boys.
Weight lifters have known for a loooong time, squats will kick start your metabolism and increase your testosterone levels.
Yup. New batch every day. But where does it all go?
(I’ll be here all week discussing the benefits of eggs.)
” But where does it all go?”
Hopefully in your woman.
GOOD! That mean’s mommy’s basement dwellers AREN’T reproducing!!!
I’m a little late to comment on this thread because I was out in the yard chopping firewood after I dug a trench with a shovel.
“What’s eight inches long, hard as a rock and full of semen?”
“I dunno… your junk?”
“Nope. The sock under my bed!”

Good to see you back brother. That’s pretty damn funny.
I wonder what that study cost? I could have told you that. People who stay busy don’t have all day to sit around jacking off.
you would be surprised how many private/public/charter schools no longer have a gym class
O- and testosterone excessive.
Line forms on the right, ladies.
Excuse me, I have to go cut a cord of wood.
^^ @ Cynic I should have read the thread before posting. LOL. Great minds think alike it seems.
I always thought the sperm WERE the workers.
Simple. Heavy labor increases muscle mass leading to higher testosterone levels.
This leads to an increase in ALL male markers including sperm counts. So hit the gym if you want to be virile and masculine….or get a job involving constant physical labor.
So, you’re saying physical labor can lead to actual labor?
Good to know…
Well now, that explains why we have 2 generations living on their backside down by the river. Actually, this is good news, not enough sperm to reproduce. One such backside-layer held a sign that said “It’s snowing and I’m cold, can’t work today.” I smiled and waved.
So Michelle Obama must be doing a LOT of physical labor!
You have to take that as Darwinism – it’a literally survival of the fittest.
