Study Questions Efficacy Of Mask Mandates

CTH

An interesting article from the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) is gaining increased attention as questions about asymptomatic spread of COVID-19, the baseline for all COVID mitigation, is being reconciled with the latest tracing data.

In essence, the larger question being asked is: can people without coronavirus symptoms spread the COVID-19 virus?  This question is at the heart of all current COVID mitigation efforts.  If there is no asymptomatic spread then what is all of this mask wearing nonsense and shut-down mandates all about? 1. The masks are your symbol of submission. You’ll wear them and you will like them.

Holiday masks will be banned next year…no Santa’s, no snowmen, no reindeer, no trees, and no holly.

  2. I had the WuFlu about a month ago – spent a week in the hospital. I mostly didn’t wear a mask even though I have a compromised immune system due a medication I’m on. I’m an adult and have made my choice to live without a mask. It’s an airborne disease just like a cold or the flu. While it seems to be more aggressive in attacking the body, transmission/infection appears to be similar. There’s not much that can be done to prevent getting it, so I go on with my existence.

  3. My inlaws flew in 3 days ago, passed thru LAX and O’Hare airports.

I’ll report if anything changes, but right now we are coof-free.

    Imagine the odds.

Must be a result of forced mask wearing. 🙄️

  4. I have taken a lot of steps to protect myself, primarily health-related. I take vitamins C, D, and Zinc daily, get outdoors a lot to get natural sunlight, and stay in shape. Given that ‘healthy’ (per CDC definition) people are 1/10 as likely to die should they contract the virus, perhaps the Faucis should have focused on that rather than a useless symbolic gesture.

  5. Masks vs. no masks: results are “no significant difference,” i.e., “statistical noise,” in serious mask studies going back 40 years.

A mask will catch your cough spittle, however, which is why nurses and doctors wear them – don’t give your patient your own bug!

  6. Leftie wife tried to get me to wear a mask today on my own property because she had leftie friends coming over.

Fuck that. I don’t mask up on my land. Don’t like it? Fuck off.

She had at least three comorbidities… why can’t she catch this Chinese shit?

  7. Have you ever seen a man driving down the road at highway speed with a mattress strapped to the roof of his car, steering with his right hand and holding on to the mattress with his left?

That left hand, which has no power to match the forces of physics and aerodynamics, is why we have mask mandates. Man can’t stand the thought of there being things in this world above and beyond his control.

Just to clarify, they wear masks to catch the spittle that carry’s the bad bacteria, which is 10 times larger than a virus.
Wearing a mask to stop virus transmission is like using a page-wire fence as a screen door to keep mosquitoes out.

  9. Every time I wear a mask, (which is only when there’s some place I absolutely HAVE to go) I feel sick for the rest of the day. I don’t see how people manage to wear them for hours; I can only manage about 15 minutes. Maybe it’s more mental than physical because I just hate them. And I can’t stand the way people act towards one another these days, as if everyone else is a mortal enemy.
