The US Supreme Court on Friday allowed President Trump to end the Biden-era protections for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans.

The decision was 6-3. All three liberal justices dissented.

Liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson fumed in her dissent.

“I cannot abide our repeated, gratuitous, and harmful interference with cases pending in the lower courts while lives hang in the balance, I dissent,” Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote.

  2. To be (slightly) fair, the law allows for the president to create ‘Temporary Protected Status’ for supposedly endangered groups. So those people are here legally. However, now that the current president has ended that status, US has the right to send them packing. But in a sensible, considerate way.
    Whether they should have been given that status in the first place is a separate issue.

  3. Every single action that benefits real Americans has to go all the way to the Supreme Court because of the army of leftists, mostly appointed by Obama and Biden who impede every move the president makes.
