(NEWSER) – A shocking proportion of young LGBTQ people seriously considered suicide last year, according to a new survey from the Trevor Project. The mental health nonprofit says rates of suicidal ideation have risen for the third year in a row and 45% of LGBTQ youth considered suicide in 2021. The figure among those 13 to 17 was 50%. Some 18% of LGBTQ youth 13 to 17 attempted suicide last year, compared to 8% of those 18 to 24, the group says. The survey found that of those who seriously considered suicide, 53% were transgender or nonbinary. Rates of considering or attempting suicide were significantly higher in minority LGBTQ youth.
The group, which interviewed almost 34,000 young people last year, said LGBTQ youth are not “inherently prone to suicide risk because of their sexual orientation or gender identity but rather placed at higher risk because of how they are mistreated and stigmatized in society,” CBS reports. Dr. Jonah DeChants, a research scientist at the Trevor Project, says recent laws in numerous states targeting transgender young people “have not only threatened their access to health care, support systems, and affirming spaces at school, they’ve also negatively impacted their mental health.”
The survey found that 60% of LGBTQ youth wanted mental health care last year but did not receive it. It also found that young people were at lower risk of suicide when they lived in communities they considered accepting and felt accepted by family and friends.

Emotionally messed-up people groom kids to be emotionally messed up, so they can feel better about themselves. It doesn’t work, but it does lead to more emotionally messed-up people.
It is certainly possible for someone to lead a different lifestyle and be happy, I know people who do, but a lot of what I see is peer pressure from people you really don’t want to identify or associate with.

It seems some of the standard trends when those that have de-transitioned share their stories is that they were all loners, all isolated and feeling insecure and sadly they were sucked into believing transitioning would help them by psychos on social media, in the schools etc. When you realized you mutilated your body for nothing and ruined your life and chance at having children that might make you a tad bit suicidal.

The way this begins is with the progressive movement inculcating self hatred among “normies.” The weak and the ones whose parents didn’t give them as much attention as they thought they deserved are most vulnerable. Then once these individuals “identify with,” it easy to get them to move to “identify as.” They are the teacher’s pets at that point and increasingly miserable as they are separated further from God and their parents.
This should come as a surprise to…. no one.

I smell bullshit. The foul acts they perform on each other have, I believe, a built in (built in by God) penalty that results in fear, self-loathing, depression, and for many, suicide.
The researchers listen to what these unfortunate people say and beleive all of it. It’s called Lived Experience and its used by psychologists and other nosy academics all the time.
They largely agree with what thier patients tell them and agree that they should never be ashamed of what sex acts they do. I bet they tell the patients to do even more perverted acts or whatever sick things they do in order to eliminate guilt. But God has built shame into them and that won’t go away. Until God forgives them.
I knew a boy who was in the same grade as my oldest son. His father was a shop and ag teacher. He was kind of an awkward kid, glasses, overweight and had the stigma of being the teacher’s kid. His parents were divorced, his father had custody of him and his sister that he had since they were divorced when the kids were very young.
Their batshit crazy mother came back into their life when they were in highschool, she was a very unhappy woman, she started putting in both their heads that they were queer. The daughter escaped it and moved away when she graduated. The son wasn’t so lucky, she convinced him he was queer because he had friends that were girls who told him stuff they only told friends who were girls. She got him to come live with her when he was 16, she couldn’t get a court to give her custody before then. She found him a boyfriend, destroyed his relationship with his father. He attempted suicide a few times and became a very unhappy person like her.
I don’t know what eventually happened to him, but she admitted to his father that she did it on purpose to hurt him, because he was very outspoken about queers. Evil ass people who will brainwash their own kid to hurt someone else.
Over the years I’ve read similar stories about kids who are made to believe their gay by adults, with many of those adults being their own parents.
An old friend from high school moved to CA, and has 3 kids who look like they march for whatever rights every day. Kool aid colored dredded hair, piercings, Harry Potter glasses, obese and unshaven. The daughter has “transitioned” to the son but then changed her mind to something made up and in between (I don’t know, there’s some made up name for it and I’m too tired to figure it out)
Mom set up a GoFundMe to subsidize the event. When I pointed out that the state of California in which they reside actually pay for this procedure, I was told I clearly hated her child and wanted her child to die.
Anyone who was friends with her on Facebook who didn’t donate money to show love and acceptance was deemed a Republican Nazi.
