Well, that’s pretty much what America has become when both political parties, and all 3 branches of government use the Constitution for TP, and when, if not a majority, but at least a high percentage of the citizens think it’s not important to be governed within the limits of the law in our founding documents. As if they are not important and unique in human history.
I have a lot of family and some friends in Sweden; it alternately makes me want to weep then I remember that many of them are bleeding-heart liberals who support this crap. My Swedish neighbor, who is a very sweet lady, posts bleeding heart stories about “refugees” on her FB. Her son moved back to Goteborg, one of the muzztard hotbeds. Lycka till!!!

Some years ago, when addressing the question of why socialism seems to work in Sweden, the answer was “because the country is full of Swedes.” While this may seem like a smartass answer, it illustrates that Sweden was a largely homogenous country, and that assuming that socialism would ever work on an intermediate or long term basis, it would be in a homogenous society.
Obviously, Syrian and other Middle East refugees are not Swedes. Nor is it logical to assume that they have any allegiance to, or even knowledge of the people, history or culture of Sweden. Sweden is just a place to go to avoid being killed by violence in their own country, and Sweden is preferable to a lot of places because the government takes care of everyone. But these immigrants have no loyalty to Sweden, and little to no incentive to “give back” to Swedish society.
History has seen population migrations in the past, and it rarely works out well for the indigineous population.
