Taliban Leader Droned

Mullah Mohammed Akhtar Mansour was reportedly killed by a drone strike yesterday.

Driving in the open, with no escorts in southwestern Pakistan near the Afghan border, Mansour has the honor of being the first to die in a drone strike in that region.

Let’s see, we’ve been fighting these killers for how long now? 15 years more or less and this is the FIRST time we’ve droned their asses in this part of Pakistan?

No wonder the war in Afghanistan is reminiscent of Vietnam. Our leaders are trying to fight it the same way.

  1. It’s all well and good to take out this bad guy but the next guy in line steps, etc. Lt Gen U.S. Grant taught us the way to win wars is to take out their army. We took out Jihadi John last year within a few blocks from Isis headquarters. We would have gotten much more bang for our buck by leveling that building. If we followed the current Rules of Engagement during WWII we would all be dead or speaking German (or worse Russian). Lawyers don’t win wars!
