Well, now we know what Lucy was talking about when she exclaimed, “What a blockhead Charlie Brown!”

I was married to a Peppermint Patty, she was a great women’s softball player (she played catcher) and and was on a woman’s team that won a National championship in Houston in 2011. That’s what I get for marrying a tomboy with 6 brothers and 2 sisters. I was Charlie Brown to her Peppermint Patty (her actual name was Patty)) and it lasted for 36 years till her death nearly 6 years ago. I was a nerd compared to her athleticism, she also played some college basketball and coached a younger girls basketball team for a while but it worked out well for both of us. As well as my oldest granddaughter who is also beginning to show that could be very athletic and a natural leader when she gets older.
