Breitbart: A consumer protest by Americans has successfully forced Target Corp. to walk a few steps away from its disastrous $10 billion decision to back the radical transgender lobby.
Instead of opening all bathrooms and changing rooms to both sexes — for the benefit of a small number of transgender people — as the company promised in April, it is now set to spend $20 million on building new lockable, single-user restrooms.
However, Target is still insisting that it won’t offer single-sex changing rooms to customers. Instead, Target’s changing rooms remain open to both sexes as a sign of support for sexually mixed transgender people.
How does a CEO cost the business that much and keep his job?

With more restrooms, Target will need more restroom cleaners. I hear Nick Denton is out of work, and he probably likes to hang out in restrooms anyway.

No way would I be a stockholder in Target. The CEO should be fired. Those bathroom stalls will remain empty as more and more people boycott Target.

Well, it may cost Target $20m for new bathrooms, but that doesn’t address the underlying problem.
The underlying problem is a for-profit business dabbling in social justice warrior-ing. That’s why I won’t go to a Target any more–not because there might be (or already has been and continues to be) perverts in the bathrooms and dressing rooms–but because I can’t stand companies who want to shove down our throats their liberal progressive ideology.
The fact that so many on the right who opposed this bathroom policy ONLY did so on the basis of perverts in the bathrooms/changing rooms is obfuscating that real problem of a liberal progressive ideological push on yet another American demographic–the Target customer base.
The only reason I can see this CEO retaining his job is if the Board of Directors are in the same ideological boat as he is. Sadly, I think that might be true.
No Target, no way, ever again. They made themselves a boycott bullseye.
