A new poll shows that pop star Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris for president may not have moved the needle in the candidate’s favor, and, in fact, may have backfired.
Surveying 1,120 potential voters between September 11-12 with a ± 3.8% margin of error, the YouGov poll showed that a majority of voters (66 percent) said that Swift’s endorsement made no difference while only 8 percent of voters would either be “somewhat” or “much more likely” to vote for Kamala Harris due to Swift’s endorsement. Popular female singers come in a definable axis of climb to stardom then fall into “whatever happened to” status. In the meantime, we have to put up with this level of stupidity until the next vapid pop star comes along.

I grew up with The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and other real musicians with staying power. Music has devolved to nothing more than a business. Swift’s music, if you can call it that, is simply horrible with absolutely no appeal or any real hook to capture your attention. She’s today’s version of bubblegum. No doubt she’s being used by TPTB.
