WT: The sudden retirement announcement of veteran GOP Rep. Ander Crenshaw has ignited speculation about a potential high-profile successor: former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.

  1. Why not? Bill Bradley was a man a good character, a famous athlete, in his time, and he became a senator. He’s had enough public criticism and attempted humiliation already, so he’ll be used to it.

  2. I’d hate to see Tebow get corrupted in DC at this young age. Maybe after a few more years experience to see how good politicians are at backstabbing and selfishness, a good, strong, principled guy like him could make a difference in government. He may actually be too good of a person to ever be an effective politician though.

  3. OK, Tebow joins the Redskins, pilots them to consecutive Superbowls.
He wins Superbowl 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56 then retires from football, runs in 2024, chooses Bill Belichick as his ‘Dick Cheney’ VP.

    Boom!

    I would buy that jersey.

  4. Tim Tebow is 28 years old, greek like god, women swoon, wealthy man and he claims to yet be a virgin?….C’mon boys, ya’ll be fools….he’s a ruse, a charlatan…it’s gonna come out if he runs for politics….and he still can’t throw the football for NFL standards….
