The GOP is the loyal opposition. However, they do not appear to want to solve the problems (though I think part of the problem are the do nothings like McConnell, Senate, and Johnson, apparently, in the House).

Those named above are in the minority. The libs and the rinos have the good guys outnumbered. If the bad guys are successful in stealing the next election we will be on a steep slope, downhill slide into a shithole. Are you seeing what’s happening in the UK, it’s coming our way.

joe6pak, I agree with your worries, but I think it is the Left who are on the steep slope downward. The MSM is desperate to prop up Kamala or whomever, but it’s a house of cards. I suffered thru much of the Sunday propagandists today and they’re running very thin on arguments. Same old shit about race and abortion.
Normal folks (and there are some on the left) need our country to be safe and successful for their families. They move slowly but, for many, common sense is kicking in. I predict a YUGE swing away from the DNC bullshit during the months before 11/5.

When you are in the minority, you have no power.
Elect Trump and give him a majority in both houses, then and only then can you effectuate real change.
Every day, youtube is filled with congressional hearings of partisan activists bureaucrats, and radical agenda-driven judges up for confirmation. The Republicans push back and expose every single one for the dangerous hack they are and their America-hating ideas, but at the end of the day, they ALL get confirmed.
We have seen that Democrats are lousy at governing, it’s time to give the other guys a crack at it.
Satan plays both sides of the chessboard. The Dems have been Satanists for some time, the GOP will stay captured as long as Israel is in our politics and Ukraine is in our pockets.
The politician tells you what you want to hear so he can get elected. Then he tells you he cannot make changes because the other side blocks any attempt. Wash. Wrinse. Repeat.

I receive e-mails and letters EVERY SINGLE DAY from politicians (from their stooges, actually) and they all say something to the effect that they need to hear from me – but all they do is DEMAND MY MONEY. They don’t allow comment, they don’t want to know my position on any issue, they don’t give a damn about anything except getting a check. Some send phony “polls” which can’t be “returned” without “donations.”
THAT tells me everything I need to know.
And I get e-mails and letters from the pols he mentions and some others.
“Tell us what to do” is part of the fucking problem – we all know what must be done:
We, the People of the United States, did ordain and establish this nation through the Constitution – if we’re not prepared to hold the maggots accountable to their oaths of office, and abide by the Constitution, no amount of telling and hand-wringing is worth a fig.

I understand the message the man is trying to get across. I fully understand his frustration but he’s chosen his words very poorly.
The goal is to make things so incredibly bad on every level that a majority will accept any “solution” put forth. This has been done before in a number of other nations.

We’ll know in November if the transformation has been completed or just postponed.
Kabuki for the masses. Reality is that all of Congress feeds from the same trough. They’ve realized that there are indeed common citizens who understand how the system works, that all of them are subject to the temptations of money and power and just how deep the corruption runs. Many of us knew all along but it took Trump shining the light of truth on it for many to awaken to the truth. So now there has to be at least the appearance that someone is “doing something about it”. So a few of them go before the cameras, act offended and then get absolutely nothing accomplished to resolve the obvious problems. I still maintain that it will be necessary for the states to join in a concerted effort to defy unconstitutional mandates, laws and regulations, and to put forth a genuine effort to expose / fight the rampant corruption in DC.

Johnson won’t let anything happen.
Give us the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives. That right there is all the proof you need to understand that the GOP is as worthless as tits on a bull.
