Trans women must attend draft days in Thailand because the country’s law does not allow people to change their gender on their ID documents. While many trans draftees are exempt from joining the army, they still have to stand in line with approximately 100,000 men to show their exemption certificates. Forcing them to partake in draft day has caused embarrassment and stress for many Thai trans women and caused outcry from LGBT communities.
Stress and embarrassment? I’d think those emotions go down the drain after your first corn-holing.
