And I thought that $3.80 cents a gallon and up to $4 dollars per gallon for regular here in Spokane was a rip-off. Gas prices normally go down after Memorial Day but not this year. And the damn gas tax increase in Wash. state hasn’t helped any either. I’m driving the 20 miles or so to Post Falls. Idaho to buy gas at $3.25 a gal. I envy my daughter in the Nashville, Tn. area where gas is below $2.50 a gallon which is where it should be. And for all fans of good old-fashioned westerns the ROKU channel has great westerns on the Cinevault western channel with episodes of the Durango Kid with Smiley Burnette as the sidekick. And the Grit Xtra channel has episodes of Dick Powell’s Zane Grey Theater and other great old westerns as well. I’m in cowboy heaven watching great older westerns, sure I know that they’re cheesy with lots of horse chases and such and guns blazing away but that what makes them great. Last night the Durango Kid had Clayton Moore playing the villain before he became the Lone Ranger.
Someone needs to print out stickers like they did for Biden except it newsom pointing to the price. Morons don’t realize that this will drive the price up on everything. And of course the dim politicians will give themselves a raise to off set the increase in the cost of living.

I live in Post Falls and am currently in Oklahoma City for training. Gas is $2.59 here. Given Idaho’s proximity to the refineries in Montana, not sure why we are so more than Oklahoma.

Idaho is still cheaper than Wash. state is for gas. That’s why I make the short trip to Post Falls for gas. If I can save anywhere from 50 to 75 cents per gallon on gas, it’s worth the short trip of 20 minutes or so.
Gas here on the Peninsula was $4.50 over Memorial Day. That includes .53/gal state tax and over .50/gal for the climate control bullshit. Coming this month another .06/gal courtesy of Gov Bob “I’ll be very frugal” Fergusen.
Hard to swallow that the initiative to repeal the climate crap was defeated but a 100% mail in voting state will do that. They’re pushing ranked voting now to lip lock that 1 party control.

Ethanol is another thing I disagree with Trump on. I believe in 2016 Cruz went to Iowa and said he would kill it.

Let’s see… I can transport 119 gallons of fuel per container, multiple containers are permitted, and I’m limited to 14,000 lbs less 5k lbs for axles and such… Call it 11 x 119 gal containers, or 1300 gallons. The difference between $4.13 in SF right now and $2.19 in Houston… Yields a $1.94 strike price, resulting in a $2522 profit per trip. And I note I can’t move 14k lbs for $2500 and harvest any kind of profit. But at $8.44/gal, the strike is $6.25, or $8125 per trip.
