I was told alligator tastes like
chicken, true?
$160 a day for a hotel in the swamp?
Fuh’Dat, I can be on a beach on an island
for that much cash, and far better food!
Bring Malaria and her chubby sister along and shove ’em in.
Down here at the Dispensary the gator nuggets taste better than chicken!

I hope they don’t play banjo too.
If you pass through the Everglades from either coast, be sure to stop at the rest area.
Pretty neat info and a huge layout of the Florida ecosystem.
Many people don’t know that South Florida has alligators AND crocodiles.
LBS, last time I went (along I-75…Alligator Alley!!!), they eliminated the gator viewing area!
If you can’t stomach Everglades City, try kayaking along
the Suwannee or Weeki Wachee (yes, they offer kayaking, too) Rivers…
…gators for the most part stay away from people and are afraid unless provoked.
Down here at McDonald’s, the chicken nuggets taste better than gator!
Kayakers. Crunchy on the outside. Soft in the middle.
If you’ve ever tipped a kayak unexpectedly – it can happen pretty quickly – there is no way I’m going down alligator alley on purpose.
If you think gator tastes like chicken, you’ve been eating some weird-ass chicken!
Gator tastes like reptile.
Used to do 130 miles on the Suwannee every Summer with the Boy Scouts. From Hwy 6 to Branford. It was so small at the start, we’d walk on the sandy bottom and hold onto our canoes. Never stepped on a gator, but if you were the first boat, and you were real quiet, you could startle them pretty good, and they’d slither down the bank into the water.
Did you know there’s one badass set of shoals on the Suwannee? Class 3, I think. Between Hwy 6 and White Springs. The gators go around them.
Czar, Wekiva Springs in Orlando is a nice little place to paddle, too.
I used to paddle a canoe, now I use an 150 HP outboard or trolling motor. Big upgrade. I think.
