NYP: The tragic murder of McDonald’s hero Adam Garcia, 28, who was trying to protect customers from a homeless psychotic, should be a wake-up call about what’s going on at the Golden Arches’ 250 New York City outlets.
Garcia’s stabbing on the sidewalk outside a McDonald’s in The Bronx early Monday morning was at least the sixth case of violent mayhem at one of the chain’s eateries since March 2015. The Big Mac attacks have left three dead and five seriously injured.
No wonder: Too many McDonald’s outlets are sleaze pits. Their downmarket, let-it-all-hang-out atmosphere draws lowlifes who couldn’t care less that the profit-challenged chain boasts it now sells antibiotic-free chicken. MORE
It’s a good thing they outlawed firearm carry there. Otherwise the poor assailants might get hurt or killed merely for engaging in their preferred hobby of assaulting people.
Of course, as the prog explains, the problem is McDonalds, fast food and corporations rather than a city that tolerates and protects violent people while severely punishing anyone that fails offer themselves up as a victim.
Eating at these urban feeding troughs is definitely bad for your health and it ain’t the food Sparky.
I’ve been to a NYC MacDee’s once, about 1995, on my way to Saudi Arabia. Even then, the MacDee’s had an armed security guard in the building.

You know, if Mooch was really all about “the healthy eating” she’d make sure that Mickey Deez and other fast food places couldn’t accept EBT and SNAP. But hell, that requires some critical thinking and understanding outcomes, which is obviously beyond the scope of her Ivy League etchacayshun [sic].
Recall that back in the 80s, all the fast food restaurants decided to expand their customer base into the inner cities. Even their advertising changed. I mean, “Mickey D’s”? Really? Now, their brand is sh!t, they’re seen as exploiters of the poor, and their “healthy menu” is totally out of line with their customer demographic’s eating habits.
