‘The Entire World Would Already Know’

DC: South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott responded on Saturday to former CIA Director John Brennan’s contention that evidence exists that President Trump colluded with Russia.

If such evidence existed, Scott said, “the entire world would already know.”

“If there is a scintilla of evidence that the president colluded with the Russians and Brennan had that evidence, the entire world would already know,” Scott said during a Fox News appearance with host Neil Cavuto.

In a Thursday op-ed published in the New York Times, Brennan based his claim that President Trump colluded with Russia on the fact that then-candidate Trump “publicly called upon Russia to find the missing emails of Mrs. Clinton” during the 2016 campaign.

“By issuing such a statement, Mr. Trump was not only encouraging a foreign nation to collect intelligence against a United States citizen, but also openly authorizing his followers to work with our primary global adversary against his political opponent,” Brennan wrote.

Responding to Brennan’s contention directly, Scott said, “So the fact of the matter is, a part of what he said in his op-ed is that the president’s public comments suggest collusion. I think that’s ridiculous.”  Watch

  1. the way I understood it when The Trump snarked that Russia had the emails and just needed to find them, there were already claims Russia had hacked HilBil but emails were claimed not available through the required government storage systems.

Dat be true. But Neil doesn’t smile much these days, and he can kiss the left side of my right cheek.
Now Charles Payne on the other hand is always smiling and Pro Trump. Neil better be careful. Wouldn’t want to see him have another heart attack.

  3. Imagine if you will, had Trump been caught on a hot mike telling a person who directly reports to Putin “Tell Putin that as soon as the election is over I can be more flexible” what their reaction would be? They would use that as grounds for impeachment; that is what they would do.

Imagine if you will what these ‘guardians of the Republic’ would do if Trump was telling the Russians ‘just get here any way you can and once you are here, even if it is by illegal means I want you to vote and don’t worry we won’t exercise the law on that- your here illegally but we want you to vote’. They would murder Trump while he sat at his desk in the Oval Office. They would pose for the “hey mom, look at me, my hands are covered with the infidel’s” picture that you typically see from some Muzzytard who murdered a Jew or 2 with his bare hands. That is what they would do.

Obama did these things and worse and they would vote for him in mass. And that is why I hate them so. They have no souls. They can’t remember what was their moral high ground yesterday. They will say whatever they think will hurt Trump today with all the sincere conviction of Tom Cruise jumping on a couch and tomorrow sell another story diametrically opposed to yesterday’s story with the same sincere conviction of Tom Cruise jumping on a couch. It’s truly Orwellian.

  4. The President was basing what he said on the DNC unsubstantiated lie that “the Russians hacked the DNC computer”. Brennan must have hid his secret data up somebody’s rear end.
That is where he is sicking his nose trying to find which one he used.

  5. Trump’s joke was in response to the fake FBI investigation colluding with Hillary to let her destroy evidence.

Let her staff hammer her Blackberries? Sure. Don’t turn over e-mails? Why not. Let staffers decide what is yoga and what is influence peddling? But of course.

Let her literally print off tens of thousands of e-mails on paper so you can’t keyword search them?

Everytime someone asked about the status, the FIB said thet could not comment on an investigation they weren’t investigating at all.

So, yea Russians. Little help please since our FBI is too corrupt to do whats right.

  6. Kurt Schlichter Tweeted a day or two ago asking what Trump has done that would warrant impeachment. Most of the answers from leftists talk about his collusion with the Russians. Not that any of them offered any proof of collusion or pointed to any evidence that Mueller has found, just that Trump should be impeached for collusion with the Russians.

If leftists really want to see a revolution, just let that happen.

  7. According to USA Today, hardly a conservative publication, in 2017 there were 2.9 people holding “secret” security clearances and 1.4 million folks with “top secret” security clearances. And it seems that every day, someone is leaking something which should be confidential, although no one seems to suffer for it. (Except Scooter Libby, and only because he told the FBI something untrue.) But the fact remains that over 4 million people have security clearances; the Feds must give them out as prizes in breakfast cereals.

So why are the liberals whining about Brennan? It seems like we really need to cull out the people that don’t need security clearances anymore so we can – hear me out on this – keep secrets. No one in the Trump administration is going to confide in Brennan or ask for his advice on any top secret matters, so his security clearance is unnecessary. If someone in the future decided Brennan needs to know something, maybe they can restore his security clearance.

As for me, I’m getting worried that in a couple of years I will be one of 100 Americans left that don’t have a security clearance.
