PatriotRetort: There’s a great column at the New York Post today by Kyle Smith called Wealth inequality isn’t a ‘crisis’ — and voters know it.
Smith takes on the losing strategy of both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders — whom he refers to as the Grandpa Simpson of Economics.
Inequality certainly is a symptom of a persistent underlying condition: It may be the leading cause of bulls–t in America today. To put it simply, there is no inequality crisis. more
I read Diane’s post of this right after I woke up way too early. “First thing Jerry?” Yes! I know. Weird, huh? AS USUAL, she knocks out another home run!
There is however, a crisis of “effort inequality”.
Actually, one could reason out fairly strongly that inequality is the primary driver of all life and evolution in the Universe. Just saying.
There is no one equal to anyone, there’s always someone with more than you and someone with less than you. That’s just the way it is Bernie. Now go die.
He’s certainly no “Mr. Burns”, THAT’S for sure..
If you want equality Bernie, then resign your overpaid government sinecure and retire to a life of eating cat food.
Exactly. I would be very offended if someone who sleeps until noon, smokes dope and watches daytime TV all afternoon had an income equal to mine.
More like a crisis of stupidity.
The fact that Bernie is considered a viable candidate is prima fascia evidence of Hillary’s un-likability.
